The Super Bowl has already came and went, but that doesn’t mean that we can’t take a few minutes to talk about some of the TV spots that dropped during the game.
This year wasn’t huge in terms of new content or surprise trailers, but Marvel had a few that grabbed my attention.
The first is the brief 30 second clip for Black Widow, featuring some new footage focusing on the core “family” of the film.
I still think Marvel has something up their sleeve with this one, especially knowing that this is the first Marvel film to drop since Avengers: Endgame (I’m not counting Spider-Man: Far From Home) and it’s focused on a “dead” side character that nobody thought was going to get her own film (which I am so glad that she is getting).
Most of the footage so far has made Black Widow look like your standard spy/espionage thriller, with a dash of comic book goodness and that’s totally fine by me, but not exactly something that has me racing to the theaters.
I hope I’m wrong.
