It’s no surprise that WB has absolutely no idea what to do about their upcoming Justice League film. First they had a script in the works and then they backed out and said that they’d wait until the numbers came back from Zack Synder‘s Man of Steel. And now we’ve got a rumor circulating about them possibly rebooting Batman just in case Superman doesn’t work out.
A new Batman film to lead us into the upcoming Justice League film? This all sounds way too soon, but I guess if Sony could reboot Spider-Man in a decade then why can’t WB do the same for Batman? A decade would be nice, but I guess Batman is popular enough for more than one adaptation.
I just hate the way they’re handling Justice League. They clearly have absolutely no clue what to do with the property, so instead of planning things out and making sure things like the script are taken care of they seem to just be looking at everything from a money standpoint.
I’m more than certain Man of Steel will open and big, but will it be big enough for them to get going on Justice League without touching the solo Batman property just yet?
We’ll have to wait and see.
