Another New, Short ‘Prometheus’ Trailer

We keep getting closer to Ridley Scott‘s latest sci-fi epic, Prometheus, which means the advertising is only going to gear up more and more over the next three months.  Today, we were treated to a new IMAX semi-teaser that has some different footage in it than the first trailer of this nature.

Ridley Scott has promised that at some point today we should see the full theatrical (2 minutes, 30 seconds or so) trailer for the film, but in the meantime, Prometheus-News.com has found another trailer with new footage that clocks in at just over a minute, but it has a few shots that fans will freak out over, until the full theatrical one is released.

The film releases June 8th, 2012, and stars Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, and is directed by Ridley Scott.  Fox  will handle releasing duties, and many are excited at the prospect of the IMAX 3D release of the film, and this trailer certainly highlights the elements that will shine best in the large format.
