Andy Serkis Talks Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes

Fox is really moving things along when it comes to their most popular franchises. Remember when we were all a little worried about Rise of the Planet of the Apes? Most of the trailers were good, but nothing indicated that it was going to be one of the best films of 2011. But it was and it made a handful of money too, which leads us to Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.

Rise director Rupert Wyatt won’t be returning, but Fox got Matt Reeves to replace him, so there’s still hope for a good movie.

Star Andy Serkis recently revealed a few things regarding the film:

“The interesting thing now will be how Caesar operates in this world – because of the virus that hits at the end of the first movie – and how Caesar brings an accord between the apes and the surviving humans and that’s going to be interesting where we take that.”

Could Dawn of the Planet of the Apes bring the film into full-fledged sci-fi territory? I’d love to see it, how about you?
