2 New ‘Gravity’ Featurettes Exploring Sound Design & IMAX

Gravity-Station-4

Alfonso Cuaron‘s Gravity opened to excellent numbers this past weekend, setting some October records and records for Sandra Bullock and George Clooney openers. Cuaron’s sci-fi masterpiece is a worldwide hit and I’m so very proud to be saying that, because the film is one of the best of the year (read my review right here) and something that deserves to be celebrated and viewed by as many people as possible, in 3D and more specifically in IMAX 3D, which accounted for most of the film’s ticket sales.

Today, we’ve got two new featurettes to bring to you. One covers the film’s NASA influence and how important it was for the director to present the film on IMAX screens.

Check it out below:

The second video is little longer and explores the film’s unique sound, including Steven Price‘s score and the general design and mixing of audio for the film.
