Look, it’s no secret that people are taking a giant dump on Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Its weekend drops are clearly telling WB (and the rest of the world) that both critics and audiences really didn’t care for Zack Snyder‘s grim and dark take on two of the most iconic superheroes of all-time, not to mention the kick-starter for The Justice League.
But that isn’t going to stop WB from trying to make as much money as possible.
Early rumors are suggesting that the eventual R-rated cut of the film, which was originally slated for a Blu-ray release sometime later this year, might make its way into theaters.
This is mostly because WB wants to recoup as much money on this film as possible, but will probably be billed as EVEN MORE ACTION & EXCITEMENT THAN THE FIRST TIME!
I remember when they did this with the director’s cut of Watchmen, which was an improvement over the theatrical cut, but not quite as perfect as the ultimate cut.
I’m all for seeing this proposed cut of the film on the big screen, but I really do hope that it includes more than one scene to help connect some of the blank dots that made absolutely no sense.
And this is coming from a fan of the film.
