Trailer For Steven Spielberg’s War Horse

Steven Spielberg is back after 2008’s horrible Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. This time he will be directing a war film called War Horse. The trailer displays some beautiful scenery and a very soft and soothing score. I trust Spielberg and I think this looks exactly like an Oscar nominated film, which would be good for Spielberg, but I honestly didn’t find the trailer that amusing. These types of movies never really have great trailers. You just sort of see the movie based on the word of mouth or the fact that it’s Steven Spielberg. I have no doubt that it will probably turn out decent, but until I see or hear more about it I probably won’t be getting pumped up for it.

War Horse stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Tom Hiddleston, David Thewlis, Jeremy Irvine and Emily Watson. It will in theaters on December 28th, 2011.

Check out the trailer below thanks to B.A.D.:

Follows a young man named Albert and his horse, Joey, and how their bond is broken when Joey is sold to the cavalry and sent to the trenches of World War One. Despite being too young to enlist, Albert heads to France to save his friend.
