‘Things I Don’t Understand’ Screening Dates Announced!

A while back, I brought you a review of the independent drama Things I Don’t Understand (here) and promised to keep everyone updated as the film progressed toward release.  I interviewed director David Spaltro about the making of the film, and he promised to let us know where more people could see the film.  In April, the film won Best Feature Film at the Indie Spirit Film Festival in Colorado, and now the film will keep going along the festival circuit.  You can next see the film Friday, June 22nd at 8pm at the The Philadelphia Independent Film Festival at The Franklin Institute Science Museum (located in Center City Philadelphia, at the intersection of 20th Street and the Benjamin Franklin Parkway).

Sunday, July 8th, the film will screen in competition at the Northwest Ohio Independent Film Festival at 10:00am at the Veterans Memorial Civic And Convention Center 7 Town Square in Lima, Ohio, where the film has been nominated for the 2012 Grand Prix award, the 2012 Audience Choice Award, Spaltro has been nominated for Outstanding Direction, and the three leads have been nominated for the Outstanding Actor Awards as well as being nominated for Outstanding Editing and Outstanding Screenplay.

At the end of July, from the 24th-29th, Things I Don’t Understand will be screening in competition at the Blue Whiskey Independent Film Festival in Palatine, IL.  For more information on the film, visit their website at http://www.tidu-film.com  and http://www.facebook/thingsidontunderstand.com.  If we hear anything further on where people can see the film in addition to these festivals, we’ll be the first to let you know.
