Red State Coming To Blu-Ray In October (Plus Theatrical Details)

It looks like the newest Kevin Smith directed horror film, Red State will be making its way to Blu-ray this October. Lionsgate is currently planning to release the film in September on VOD (Video on demand) with a limited theatrical run to follow in October. The Sirmon is reporting that the theatrical release will be taking place on one night. The film will play on one night and one time in theaters across the nation, followed by a live question and answer that will allow viewers to tweet questions to director Kevin Smith right after the film is over.

$20 dollars for this theatrical experience actually sounds worth it. Since $10 would usually go towards the ticket and the other $10 goes towards Kevin Smith and his crew for putting together this live session afterwards, via satellite. I sure hope a theater around me gets it as I’d really like to experience it on the big screen.

As for the Blu-ray details, check them out below, thanks to CityOnFire.
