Red Band Trailer For Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter Shows The Blood & Violence

Timur Bekmambetov‘s Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter is a film that has been on my radar ever since I heard about the production. It sounds like a really weird mash-up that would make for some good comedic relief and hopefully over-the-top violence and yet Fox is playing everything completely straight-faced.

Aside from the title, the film is deadly serious and I’m starting to like that about it. The violence is on full display in this newly released red band trailer for the flick, via IGN.

I like that most of the action sequences look like they’ve been catered to the 3D format, which means the increase in ticket prices won’t be for nothing. I’m not a fan of CGI blood and gore, but I’ll take it as long as the action blends together well.

Benjamin Walker, Anthony Mackie, Rufus Sewell, Dominic Cooper, Alan Tudyk and Mary Elizabeth Winstead star in the film, which opens everywhere on June 22nd, 2012.
