There’s something very special about what director Andy Muschietti is doing with the It series for WB. Never before has a horror film felt like such an event and never before has a horror film looked so big and bold.

It: Chapter One was far from flawless, but still an engaging and well-done set-up film for the story of Pennywise the dancing clown, played with pure terror by Bill Skarsgard.

It: Chapter Two looks to be continuing that story by diving into the adulthood of the characters as they return to their hometown to face off against evil one last time.

I love that Muschietti was able to get such a diverse cast of actors that range from well-known to unknown. I also hope that the script is good enough for them to sink their teeth into.

The visuals on display in this trailer are in line with what we previously saw, revealing many new fun scares to be discovered, as well as shocking reveals. Yes, the CGI looks occasionally spotty, but I’m a firm believer in Muschietti’s horror abilities and I hope that It: Chapter Two can live up to the hype.

Thoughts on the final trailer?
