Edgar Wright has a new flick coming out this August and it’s called Baby Driver.
It’s about a getaway driver that loves jamming to music while escorting criminals from A to B. He’s also in love with a waitress and is hoping to land one last job and then call it quits for good.
Obviously nothing is going to go wrong with his plan, right?
Seriously, I’ve learned never to doubt Edgar Wright. The man has quite a resume: Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, The World’s End and Scott Pilgrim vs. the World.
He was once supposed to direct Ant-Man, but creative differences cut that number short, which is fine, because Baby Driver looks like a fun slice of action to cap off the summer with.
The cast is colorful, the action looks fast-paced and thrilling and the plot has just enough familiarity to deem it a worthy trip to the local cinema.
