After quite a bit of wondering in the gaming community, it looks like Activision has set a release date for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, another sequel in their long running Call of Duty franchise that has shattered sales records the world over.  Fans have been salivating for more ever since the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops, and after a lot of rumors, it looks like IGN has uncovered the truth.

This photo confirms the date of Nobember 13th, 2012 at Target, and I can tell the pic was snapped by an employee because I recognize their packing list underneath the two stacks of cards.  We used to get these sometimes weeks before we actually started taking pre-orders, but expect to see these out there pretty soon.

The official announcement of the date will come May 1st during the NBA playoffs, but you can bet money this will be the date they announce.  Now making that date, that always comes to be the problem for video game releases, but with Activision, they seem to be able to hit their dates, and that’s why multiple COD games have broken the record for midnight, first day, and first week sales, among other records.  Expect no less from this one, although it will be a good 6 months before you’ll get your hands on it.
