Anne Hathaway Joins Christopher Nolan’s ‘Interstellar’

Anne Hathaway holds her Oscar for winning Best Supporting Actress for her role in "Les Miserables" in Hollywood

Oscar-winning actress Anne Hathaway is set to re-team with The Dark Knight Rises director Christopher Nolan for his next film titled Interstellar. Deadline reports that she’ll be joining the recently confirmed Matthew McConaughey in the ambitious project. It’s unclear what her role is going to be in the film.

Christopher Nolan will be merging an original idea of his own with the script that his brother Jonathan Nolan had already written when Steven Spielberg was attached to direct. The film centers on a heroic interstellar voyage to the furthest reaches of our scientific understanding. The film will be co-produced and distributed by Paramount Pictures and Warner Bros.

I’m interested to discover if Christopher Nolan will be casting any more actors and actresses from his previous films. I personally think that Anne Hathaway is one of the best actresses of her generation. She brings her own to each film she appears in. I’m thrilled that Hathaway and Nolan are going to work together again.

Interstellar is set to arrive in conventional and IMAX theaters on November 7th, 2014. Expect more official casting announcements in the coming weeks.
