It looks like a few interesting names have been added to the growing cast list of Ridley Scott’s biblical epic Exodus. Deadline reports that Aaron Paul, Sigourney Weaver, Ben Kingsley, and John Turturro have joined the previously announced Christian Bale and Joel Edgerton.
The film centers on Moses (Bale) and the Egyptian ruler Ramses (Edgerton). Sigourney Weaver and John Turturro will portray the parents of Ramses, Ben Kingsley will portray a scholar, and Aaron Paul will be Joshua who leads the Israelites into the Promised Land.
Ridley Scott is directing the film from a screenplay by Oscar-winning screenwriter Steve Zaillian. Production is expected to begin this September, with shooting to take place in Spain, Morocco, and England. Exodus will arrive in theaters on December 12th, 2014.
